Tina McMahan BURNSVILLE Tina Nell Watkins McMahan, 47, of Burnsville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in the Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. She was born in Lexington, NC on October 14th, 1963, to Jessie Watkins and the late Poly Brite Watkins. Tina enjoyed reading, writing, her dog Tas and being outdoors. Tina leaves behind her husband of three years, Ricky Paul McMahan; son, Jacob Jenkins and wife, Kayla of Morganton; daughter, Rebecca Jenkins of Marion; step-son, Bobby McMahan and wife, Amanda of Marion; granddaughter, Charity Jenkins of Morganton; brother, David Watkins of NC; two sisters: Vicky Buffington of GA and Melisa Berrier of Lexington, NC; a special aunt, Ada Willis of Sylva. Tina also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 25th, 2011, in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Rev. Daniel McMahan will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to help with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
