MARK CURRIER Obituary

MARK CURRIER Mark A. Currier, born on November 17, 1956, in McPherson, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, in Rose Hill, Kansas, surrounded by his loving family and faithful dog. He was 68 years old. Mark was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and his life was a testament to faith, devotion, and generosity. Mark was born to Noman and Alice Currier (Markham), who preceded him in death, along with his sister, Shelly Wiggins. He is survived by his three daughters, Alicia (Justin) Lance, Katheryn Persinger, and Jessica Currier; his cherished grandson, Isaac Lopez; and his granddaughters, Athena Persinger and Arralynn Lance. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie (Steve) Sisson; his brother-in-law, Cameron Wiggins; his nephew, Christopher Eagan; and his loyal dog, Stan, who was always by his side. A true miracle in his own right, Mark's faith in Christ was the cornerstone of his life. He believed deeply in the power of prayer and was unwavering in his devotion. His spirit was one of kindness and selflessness, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear to anyone in need. Mark's life was one of service, and he touched the hearts of many with his compassion and generosity. Mark's love for his family and his unwavering faith will be remembered as the guiding light that led him through every challenge and blessing. His legacy will live on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. A private service will be held to honor Mark's memory. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the memorial fund for his grandchildren and can be sent to the Mark Currier Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1588, Manhattan, KS 66503. Mark's family finds comfort in knowing that he is now at peace, surrounded by love, and in the arms of his Savior. Mark will be greatly missed, but his love and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
