Liv Teverino Obituary
Liv began dancing at the Georgia Dance Conservatory on the Marietta Square at the age of three. She was a graceful dancer with a wonderful stage presence and enjoyed ballet, modern dance, and jazz. For many years she enjoyed performing various roles in the Nutcracker ballet. Once in high school, Liv traded in her pointe shoes for spikes and began running cross-country and track. She was a member of the Marietta High School 2021 and 2022 7A Girls' State Championship Cross-Country team. In addition, she followed in her brothers' footsteps and swam for the Lee's Crossing Cyclones summer swim league for eight years.
Liv loved the Lord and was an active member and altar server at Saint Joseph Catholic Church. She also participated in multiple youth groups including Passion, Christ the Redeemer, and Marietta First United Methodist churches. Christ was her life! She is survived by her parents Scot and Beth Teverino, her brothers Luke and Brendan, her paternal grandparents Tony and Eleanor Teverino of Mentone, Alabama, and her maternal grandparents Elizabeth (Betty) Molloy of Decatur, GA and Joseph Molloy. A funeral service in memory of Liv will be held Monday, September 25, 2023, 10 a.m., at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Marietta. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. at Mayes Ward Dobbins funeral home on the Marietta Square. Following the visitation, there will be a vigil service in the funeral home's chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Liv Helen Teverino to the Marietta Schools Foundation, 144 Polk Street, Marietta, GA 30064 where a scholarship has been established to honor and celebrate Liv's extraordinary life.

I am keeping her family in my prayers. Although I did not know her long, she was such a lovely, welcoming, and friendly person. She was my roommate in the Cobb Youth Leadership Fall Retreat. We became fast friends, we stayed up until 2 in the morning giggling, talking about boys, and school. I will miss her greatly, I wish we just had more time. The bible verse on her Instagram is Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Though her life was cut short, the Lord allows her memory to continue on forever.
