June 24, 1980 - October 5, 2021
Merced, California - Brian Mathew Costa, a resident of Merced, died unexpectedly on October 5, 2021 at the age of 41.
Brian is survived by his parents; Lenora and Michael Costa ( Dos Palos) ; his brothers, Michael Costa Jr. (Los Angeles) and Joshua Costa (Dos Palos) ; his grandparents, Cecelia and Leon Rippee (Dos Palos), and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Brian is predeceased by his grandparents; Albert and Mary Costa (Los Banos) ; and his aunt Maryanne Martin (Abilene, Texas).
Brian was born on June 24, 1980 in Los Banos. He graduated from Los Banos High School in 1997.
Brian was an avid fisherman and devoted San Francisco Giants fan. He loved to cook and would oftentimes share his epicurious accomplishments with mom Lenny and grandma Cecelia. He was a spiritual man with a loving and caring heart and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A graveside service for Brian is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on November 18 at the
Cemetery in Dos Palos. Due to Covid 19 concerns, there will be no social gathering after the service.

Brian our heart's are forever broken and we still can't believe you're gone. I'm going to miss you everyday, every minute, every second that my heart beats without you.
