Very sadden to hear of Grandpa Charlies passing. You can always tell where a beautiful soul has been by the tears and smiles left behind. Charlie was special one of a kind. We'll never be lucky & find someone like him. I think of all the fun things he did and said. He was a very giving person. When I think of him I think of him teaching all the kids & grand kids to drive you'll see him with a baby in his lap in front of the steering wheel. He left a big impression in my heart. I will always treasure that. He will be so missed. The grand daughter of Ann Huddleston which will make Charlie my step Grandfather. My condolences to the Huddleston family wishing you comfort and peace.

Charlie was always finding ways to help others in the Merced community. He ran his Save the Youth program for many years in Merced, providing many children opportunities to expand their horizons. His dedication to enrich the lives of young people will never be forgotten.

So sad to hear of Charlie's passing. He was a very compassionate individual and did lots of positive things to make life more enjoyable for underprivileged individuals and families. I remembered many times he would ask how my father was doing when my father was alive and would give me sweet potatoes and other vegetables and say "Ernie, give these to young Dad." Our prayers and condolences to the Huddleston family and may Charlie Rest in Paradise. Charlie will be dearly missed by many.
