David Archibald

1966 - 2016

David Earl Archibald of Merced, California, 49 passed away on Friday Jan. 8, 2016. David was born on Aug. 22, 1966 in Kittery, Maine. David was an outgoing and fun man who was known by many as Uncle Buck. He leaves behind many memories and will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and jokes along with his ability to light up a room with his larger than life personality. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, trips to the coast and the casino, his truck and the San Jose Sharks. He was a long haul trucker who took many pictures of the countryside to share with his family and friends. David leaves behind his devoted wife, Christina Archibald, his mother Shirley Archibald father, Lawrence Archibald, stepmom, Irene Archibald, sisters, Patricia Archibald and Nancy Morel, step-daughter, Rachael DeVoe and her two daughter's nieces, Jennifer and Sara Morel and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Tues., Jan. 19, 2016 from 1-8pm at Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Merced. Funeral services will be at 10am on Wed., Jan. 20, 2016 at Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home in Merced with burial to follow at Merced District Cemetery in Merced.
