It is with much sadness that I recently learned of Dave's passing. He and I played football together at Merced High starting in our freshman year to our senior year. Had various conversations reminiscing about our games and practices. He will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with the family.

I am so sorry to hear about Dave. I just found the notice in the Merced obituary section. He will really be missed in our little family that is growing shorter and shorter. I do not see to many people anymore since my Wife Rose passed last year after 60 years together. I also miss talking to his sister Julie allot since she moved away. Every one that new him loved him.

My condolences to the family of Dave Tatum. He and I retired on the same day in 2008 from AT&T C&E. Whenever I would see him occasionally after retirement he was always happy and smiling. Very positive demeanor. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Dave.
