Dolores Favelo, 95, passed away on February 1, 2017. Dolores was born in Gustine and attended local schools. She married Dominic Favelo in 1945 and spent the next 50 years on their ranch on Fahey Road. In 1995, they settled in Los Banos. Dolores was a Teacher's Aide at R.M. Miano Elementary School for over 24 years; and also volunteered her time as a "Pink Lady" at the Los Banos Community Hospital for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents J.C. and Maria Jacques, her husband Dominic, brother Frank Jacques, and son Michael Favelo.
Dolores is survived by her sons Larry and wife Marcie Favelo of North Fork, Steve and wife Candace Favelo of Kingsburg, and Ricky Favelo of Los Banos; one sister, Evelyn Taylor; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
On Thursday, February 9, 2017, we will begin with a visitation at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel at 9:30 a.m.; the rosary will be recited at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. and the funeral mass will begin at 11:30; burial will follow at the Los Banos District Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapels~Los Banos.

Ricky I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a terrific "Pink Lady" at the hospital and took her duties seriously. Prayers to you and your family. Your Mom was a kind lady and always so nice to me, and will be truly missed.

Dolores was a good and caring woman. She was a people person who worked hard, and the children at LBE loved her.
