Merced, California - Corie was born April 13, 1930 to Virgil and Rose Caton. She was the oldest of four girls and was always a real "spitfire". She loved to joke, laugh and have a good time. She lived life to the fullest. In her later years Corie couldn't get around too good, but her wonderful caregiver, Maribel would take her shopping and to her many doctor appointments. Maribel was a godsend for corie and she loved Maribel dearly. Thank you Maribel.
Corrie will be joining her mom, dad and sister Emily Jameson in heaven. She leaves behind her two loving sisters, Betty Hamit and Linda Albright; her niece, Kelly Hamit-Nanez; two nephews, John Roush and William Albright. You might be gone sis but you will never be forgotten.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, located at 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca. A funeral service will immediately follow with burial at Winton District Cemetery.
