Eleanor Shaffer

Los Banos, California - Fannie "Eleanor" Shaffer, age 95, of Los Banos, passed away peacefully on June 7th, 2021.
Born October 18, 1925, Eleanor was the youngest of five children born to Harry and Fannie Watson in Cumberland Ohio. She met her husband Robert H. Shaffer and married on March 15, 1945. They had four children: Ace, Eddie, Tom and Brenda. Eleanor had five grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Eleanor and Robert moved to Mountain View, CA in 1956. Eleanor was a woman of faith, a homemaker, and a banker. In 1992 they retired in Los Banos.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband and two of her sons.
Memorial services will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM, at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, 1840 Center Ave, Los Banos.
