Lonita Robertson Davis Obituary

Lonita Shenette Robertson Davis
August 18, 1969 - April 20, 2022
Merced, California - Lonita Shenette Robertson was born in Dos Palos and raised in Merced, CA. She is one of eleven children born from Earl William Sr. and Carolyn 'Faye' Austin. As a young girl, Lonita was very competitive and loved playing softball, running track, and fighting, it didn't matter who or where either (She stayed ready). Lonita was an outspoken tomboy that didn't play about her younger siblings. She was like a mother to all of her younger siblings. She taught them responsibilities and ethics they carried into adulthood. Even when she began her own family, she never turned away any of her family members. It was normal to see her sister Stephanie if not one but all siblings at her house for days even when they had their own homes. She always loved family gatherings where you could she her singing, dancing and laughing the entire night.
After attending high school, Lonita worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant throughout her adulthood. Lonita married her lifelong soulmate, Anthony Davis Sr. on September 10, 2020, after 15 years of companionship.
If you knew Lonita, then you knew she loved her Dallas Cowboys and Bingo, if she wasn't at one of her favorite Bingo spots, she was on her way to one. Her and her baby sister, Her and Angie would spend 2 to 3 days a week playing Bingo at different places, that's how much she loved Bingo. When she wasn't at the Bingo, you could catch her and her of sister Joyce shopping. Lonita was also known for her cooking skills, no matter what it was you knew it was going to me delicious, especially her famous lasagna.but it was her Spanish food that her children loved eating the most.
Services for Lonita will be on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca.
