ROBERT LOPEZ Obituary
Robert M. Lopez was born in Azusa, CA to the late Jose and Dorothy Lopez.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Trinidad Lopez their two sons Michael "Hamburger" Lopez and Bobby Lopez, Brother Alfonso, and two sisters Esther Lopez, and Beatrice Apodaca. He is survived by two sons Sammy, and Alfred "Willie" Lopez, daughter Susie Lopez, Grandchildren Jason and Joseph Lopez, two great grand-daughters Mina Rose and Isabella Grace Lopez, and five brothers Martin, Raymond, Manuel, Philip and Danny Lopez, also by his two sisters Mary "Sukie" Contreras and Martha Gonzalez.
Robert was from a migrant family that traveled to Texas and Wyoming before settling in Planada, CA in 1940. Robert M. Lopez joined the Armed Forces in the Second World War. As a construction worker he worked on The San Louis Dam and Exchequer Dam. He enjoyed traveling with his wife visiting different sates in there RV, gardening in the spring, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Robert was a member of sacred Heart Catholic Church in Planada CA.
Rosary and Mass will be held Thursday, May 5th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m.

Dear Susie, Willie and Sammy please accept my deepest condolences in the loss of your father. Our families have known each other for countless years as we all grew up together in Planada on Canal Street. One of my memories of your mom and dad is when every Sunday morning without fail I would see them coming home from Mass in their truck. You were blessed to have had such wonderful parents. I pray that all of you have the strenght to get through this very difficult time. I was so glad to have been able to see you Susie and have you celebrate Easter with our family. I hope to see you again when I return home. God bless all of you.
