Roberto Urrutia

1953 - 2025

Roberto Urrutia passed away on November 19, 2025, in Merced, California. He was born on June 26, 1953, in Moorhead, Minnesota, to Feliciano Sr. and Ramona Urrutia.

Roberto spent his early years in Livingston, where he attended both elementary and high school. He later worked for many years at Rexall Drug Store, becoming a familiar face to many in the community.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Nieves Salinas, Rosa Zuniga, and Gloria Bocanegra; his brothers Feliciano Urrutia Jr., Salvador Urrutia, and Joey Urrutia; and his beloved wife, Guadalupe Urrutia.

Roberto is survived by his siblings Anna Maria Lopez and Julio Urrutia. He is also survived by his two stepdaughters, Floripes and Veronica, who brought great joy into his life through their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roberto cherished his role as a grandfather and was a constant presence in their lives. In his final days, they remained by his side with unwavering love and care. A heartfelt thank you goes to Stephanie and Angelica for their devoted support-they were truly his angels.

Roberto leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

A visitation and viewing will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1480 B Street, Merced, CA 95341, on December 4, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Rosary and Mass will follow at St. Jude's Church in Livingston, CA, on December 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date.

Roberto's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
