Yolanda 53, of Chowchilla died Friday June 28, 2013,at home with family
and friends at her side,following a 18 mo. battle with cancer.
Yolanda was born Aug 5,1959 in Salinas California,she is survived
by her husband of 27 years Carlos She is the daughter of Eequiel
[deceased] and Mary Lou Cota. Brothers, Ezequiel Jr. of Chowchilla
Mark Cota of Adelanto,sister Sylvia Gonzalez of Salinas Ca.Daughter Elizabeth Hernandez of Chowchilla,sons Anthony Castillo Joseph Jefferson and Xavier Jefferson of Chowchilla.She is survived by nieces and nephews and god chidren.
She attended school in Prunedale Ca, and Salinas High School.Her passion was riding on the back of her husbands Harley.She enjoyed making Native American Art,that you can find through out her home.
Yolanda loved life she was very often the life of the party.If you caught at the right moment you would hear her give her war cry.
She was and is loved and missed dearly by all her friends and family
Rest in peace our Beautiful Angel you will always will be in our hearts forevever.

Yoli,
I remember all times great times we spent together, from your house in Prunedale, to my wedding, and many other times in between. It saddens me that you are no longer with us but now you get to spend eterntiy with your dad, my dad, and all our other family members that have left us. I loved you like a sister and will miss your humor, laughter, and how welcome you could make everyone feel when they were around you. I will think of you often cousin and love you with all my heart, we will miss you.

My dearest Yolie.... you hold a big part of my heart. The memories are endless since our childhood to adulthood. We understood one another so well. You are and always be my sister in Christ and my very best prima hermana. Thank you for all the laughter, tears and joys. You will always be my special Loca. Spread your angel wings all around us... we know you are here with us. There are no words to express the hole you left in my heart.
