Resident of San Jose
Alfred (Al) Leon Rinaldo Sr., 93, a Retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force, and a longtime resident of San Jose, passed away on Friday September 20, 2013. Al was a vibrant, funny and much loved husband, father, uncle, and friend. Al was married 57 years to Margaret Elizabeth Rinaldo who preceeded him in death. Al is survived by his children, Alfred Rinaldo Jr. (Arlene), Marianne Woods (Frank), Connie Williams (Lance), Lori Linhares (Ken), Gina Dahlhauser (Mark), Teresa Schacherbauer (Rick) and Laurie and Jack Yee, his foster sons. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Jennifer Rasmussen, Brittany Crim (Reggie), Francesca Linhares, Jacqueline Taylor (John), Allyson Page (Brad), and Nicole Nardiello (Marlin). He is also survived by his grandsons Vincent Adams, Skylar Adams, Matthew Linhares, Jeffrey Linhares, Joshua Pretti (CJ), and Jameson Pretti (Lara). He is also survived by his thirteen great grandchildren, numerous close relatives, and his companion Marcia Meunier. A Rosary will be held on Thursday October 3, 2013 at 10am at St. Christopher Catholic Church, San Jose, The rosary will be immediately followed by a mass at 11am in the same location. A reception will follow.
