Annabelle Levy Obituary

Annabelle Levy Died in an auto accident Sept. 25, 2005, while on vacation in Indiana. She was born in Bunker Hill, Indiana, population 600 or so, in 1932. She became a fingerprint expert for the FBI soon after completing High School She married Samuel Levy (a poor sailor when they met) who eventually became (by her facilitation) an Aerospace Engineer with an advanced degree. She took responsibility for managing the family's finances and health, both mentally and physically. She was an avid reader and consumed at least 2 volumes a week.

Her husband always told his friends when they were experiencing marital difficulties that "Everyone should have an Annabelle". She was a sea of calm in a world of turbulence. She just had a natural proclivity for mitigating tense situations. Additionally, nobody was more industrious nor their needs more modest than she. She was up at 5:30 a.m. every morning and was done with most household tasks by noon. She loved her daughters (Susan, Sarah, and Samanntha) and the four Grandchildren that followed. What then makes this woman so outstanding say you? It was her devotion to her family, her outlook on life and the way she engendered hope and exhilaration into all she touched. Most of all we will all miss her love and unselfishness that so warmed our hearts and always made us feel more important than we really deserved.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at LIMA FAMILY SANTA CLARA MORTUARY, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara, CA, followed by burial at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.
