Dear Brother,
This Friday the 29th of January they will lay you to rest with other veterans, I am sorry that you were not able to rest with Mom and Dad but I am sure that you are talking with them now in the Kingdom of God. I shall never forget you and think of you often.

Dearest Arturo, my brother,
How I am going to miss our phone calls. Even though we didn't talk very much we heard each others voices. The last time you called me was around Thanksgiving. You told me you were ok and the last time I called you you were very weak and tired, but I heard your voice. Now I will have to wait til we are togther again to hear you calling my name.
May God have you in his arms.
Love your sister Ofelia

A sign of the quality if a man is the quality of his children. Your father lives on in you (as does your mother), and I know they must be proud. All my love.
