Barbara Jean (Silva) Costa

Resident of Fresno, CA

Was born February 25, 1933 in Visalia , CA. Barbara passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010.

Barbara is survived by; her sons - Rob Lake, Rod Lake, Ronald Lake and Bob Clark, Her brothers; Larry Silva and Len Silva, and her grandchildren Allison Lake, Jason Lake, Derrick Clark and Adam Clark.

Barbara was the middle daughter of Lou and Marie King Silva, and sister to Louis Silva, Alice Silva Thompson, and Dee Silva, all who have preceded her passing. Barbara devoted her professional life to the insurance industry after graduating from Tomales High.

She was much loved by her family, customers, and co-workers. She leaves our lives richer for having known her.

Donations in her name may be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, www.leukemia-lymphoma.org.

So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. I worked with her back in the mid 70's at Dempsey Insurance Service. I remember how important her "kids" were to her then and I am sure she is greatly missed.
