Bruce Alex Cunningham
1954 - 2018
Bruce Alex Cunningham
Jan. 13, 1954 - Nov. 6, 2018
Bruce was called to be with our Lord much sooner than expected. He is survived by wife Debby, daughter Kristin (husband Patrick & son Luke), son Kevin (wife Elizabeth & sons Jackson & Hunter), father Claude (wife Ann), brother Richard, sister Claudia (husband Frank), and in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Bruce loved all things mechanical and collected classic Mustangs. He co-founded and managed Cunningham's Auto Service in Los Gatos for 24 years; then became chief mechanic at Santa Clara County Fire District for 22 years.
He loved the outdoors and lived most of his life in the Los Gatos mountains. He enjoyed camping, motorcycling, boating, skiing, BBQing, and hanging out with friends & family.
Bruce selflessly gave his time and talent to repair cars, homes, etc. His dedication to his family was unmatched.
Contact the family or Calvary Church Los Gatos for service information. Donations are welcome to the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.

This breaks my heart. What a great guy, always will to help out, give advice, or just pass the time. You'll be missed by many of us.

I didn't know Bruce as well as I knew Debby, but after attending his beautiful Memorial I know that he was a great person and I'm so sorry that he passed away so young. I lost my parents when I was a teenager. I know the pain everyone is feeling, especially the children. Just remember your father loved you and remember all your good times and call your mother often.

Bruce was a great friend. Although I hadn't seen him in a long time him and Debby were close to my heart. We went to HS together, double dated with him and Debby, and loved seeing them both when they would come to Cool to visit his Sister Phyliss. RIP Dear friend see you on the other side❤

It was a great pleasure to know Bruce as a neighbor in Lake Canyon.
We who live here in this beautiful neighborhood are forever indebted to him for all the hours and labor he willingly volunteered in the construction and leadership of the Lake Canyon Mutual Water Company and Lake Canyon Community Services District.
His energy and generosity will be greatly missed.
Our condolences go out to his wonderful family.
RIP, my friend.

Bruce was a good person always willing to go the extra mile. He was passionate about the things he loved and cared about. He helped me with many projects over the years. He always beamed with pride when talking about his family. I will always remember Bruce for the good person he was, his knowledge, his passion, his dedication to County Fire and the love he had for his family.
