Carolyn Reidburn Obituary

Carolyn A. Reidburn
June 28, 1939 - August 30, 2017
San Jose
Carolyn A. Reidburn passed away on August 30, 2017 surrounded by her family. Carolyn was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.
Carolyn was born in Alabama and was raised in Orlando by her parents Elizabeth and Leamon Smith with her siblings Betty and Jerry. She met Bob Haight in high school and they married in 1959. They moved to Gainesville, FL where they had three children before relocating to the Bay Area in 1964.
Carolyn had many interests and hobbies, especially astrology, painting and gardening. Carolyn worked for Lumbleau Real Estate School in the 70's and then for Samsung for over 20 years.
Carolyn was asked by her granddaughter recently what she thought the most important thing in the world was and her answer was family. That is evident in the numerous pictures and slide shows she created over the years. She leaves behind her children Laura (Michael) Rebholtz, Bob (Nikki) Haight Jr, and Michael (Kim) Haight. She loved and spoiled her 11 grandchildren Jamie (Toby), Carly (Miles), Ashton(Garson), Danny, Derek, Rob, Hayley, Erik, Samantha, Jack and Jessica. She loved being a great grandmother to Asher and Nova and we hope she is getting a sneak peek at her third great grandchild Eddie who is due any day. Carolyn also leaves behind Cheryl Felthousen her niece that she shared a special bond with.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held September 30, 2017 at 1 pm at 1147 Doon Court, Sunnyvale. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on Carolyn's behalf to your local Hospice organization.
