Chiquita Lockhart Obituary

Chiquita Schilling Lockhart Resident of San Jose Chiquita Coe Elizabeth Schilling Lockhart of San Jose, age 85, peacefully joined her Lord on September 8, 2012. Her constantly positive attitude and Christian spirit will be missed. Though predeceased by her beloved husband Bob and first born Laura, Chiq is lovingly remembered by children Bob Lockhart, Kace Wilson & Bill Lockhart, their spouses and her 9 beloved grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sister Beth Lucas, sister-in-law Marilyn Wilson and families. Chiq was an active member in Calvin Presbyterian and Lincoln Glen Church. Chiq was a UC Berkeley alumnus, Alpha Chi Omega sister, teacher, Scout leader, church school teacher and History San Jose docent. Chiq's friends are welcome to a celebration of her life Wednesday 9/12/12 at 3pm at Lincoln Glen Church, 2700 Booksin Ave. San Jose. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Books Aloud, Second Harvest Food Bank or the Lincoln Glen Church.

We knew the Lockhats from the early days in Schenectady. I had the pleasure to work for and with Bob for a numver of years. Our sincere condolences are overdue since we have been looking for an address.
