Cletus Earley Obituary

Resident of San Jose
Cletus was born in Roscoe, CA in 1925. He passed away on Aug. 16th at age 93. He had a long career as an engineer at Lockheed before retiring after 40 years. He was proud of the work he did for their missile programs. He loved visiting with his family in San Jose and in Southern California and attending the annual fishing trip to Lake Crowley. Cletus enjoyed "tinkering" with things, especially cars. He was a devout Catholic and a long-time parishioner of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in San Jose. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen and two sons, Patrick and Mark. Cletus is survived by his loving children Michael (Lillianna), Constance (Francisco), John (Tricia), Paul and daughter-in-law Teresita (Patrick), and his beloved grandchildren Antony, Ian, Nicholas, Jennifer and Jason. Cletus had an infectious laugh, a keen wit and smiling eyes. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Friends are invited to attend a Visitation beginning at 6pm followed by a Rosary at 7pm on Friday, August 24, 2018 at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollenbeck Ave., Sunnyvale. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 9:30am at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 366 St. Julie Drive, San Jose. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Los Altos.
