Clifford Kenneth Sessions, III

Age 58, Passed away peacefully January 9, 2007 in San Jose, after courageously fighting cancer. A devoted husband and father, he is survived by his wife Terri and sons Rahsaan and Jared; his first wife Dr Sharon Ashley, daughters Alafia Nicole Sessions, Dr Cecili Sessions and husband Christopher Carpenter; his sister Valerie and husband Ricardo Townes, and his nieces Johari and Carimah. He is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Odette. Born on April 18, 1948 in New York City, he graduated from Cornell University, served as a naval officer, then settled in CA. He received his law degree from UC Hastings, and has practiced for over 20 years. His passion was music. "Butch" was a jazz devotee and played trumpet and percussion. Services were held January 13 at 2:00 pm at St Julie's Church in San Jose. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.
