To my mom, I miss you so much. You were my best friend and the person that I felt closest to. You were my rock of strength. You don't know how many times I want to pick up the phone and call you and I can't. I wish you were still here on earth. There is no one that gave me as much as you did. You just gave and gave. You loved me so much. I just always wished that we got along better though I have to say. That pained me. But I know that you loved me and I know that you knew that I loved you. I will always love you. Thank you so much for everything you did. I want you to know also that Mark is really going to move back it seems. That is something that you so wanted to see. Well it looks like it is really happening. He found a place yesterday in Westhills. It has 3 bedrooms. One is for Royce. I like to think of you watching us and that you are glad about this. It is what you wanted. I miss you but you are in my heart forever. Laurel

Connie was my Mother. She was the best Mother I could have ever hoped for. I loved her like my best friend. True there were trying times as there are sometimes in families. But we saw things together like the closest of friends. I miss my mother dearly. I'm so happy I got to be with her on her last days to hold her hand and help her even if it was just to the bathroom when she couldn't hold herself up. She was there for me when I was little and throughout. I wasn't going to let her go feeling so alone. Her death was a tragic event and I pray. I pray to God that he put her were she deserves to be, in heaven. I hope she is there with all the cool people I know or knew that have passed to that side too. But perhaps on this side of things she can be with my child too in the true paradise. And now she can even spend time with Fafa as discussed in the dream to travel. I truly miss her with all my heart.

I was very saddened to hear of Connie's passing, about the same time as my Mom. Too soon for both of them. We were classmates at Menlo-Atherton High School and she was very helpful in helping with our reunions. She will be missed by her many friends. My respects to her family.

I was so saddened to hear of Connie's illness and death. She was a faithful caregiver for her Alzheimer loved one, had a wonderful heart and added considerably to our support group on-line. My condolences to her entire family.

Dear Laurel, Andrea, and Royce -

I, too, only knew Connie in cyberspace, from the Alzheimer's support list. She was such a staunch advocate for her mother's care.

I was saddened and surprised to learn of her cancer diagnosis in the middle of the struggle she was having with her mother's care. I was very touched by the energy she had to fight for her mother.

I'm glad for her that Connie is free of the pain of her cancer. My heart goes out to each of you at the shock of how short a time you all had after it was diagnosed.

I'm sorry I never knew about her cats; it wd have been a happier connection than Alzheimers.

My best to all of you,

Sally

I was so saddened to hear of Connie's death. I never met her in person but knew her through our internet cat community. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and great intelligence on many things. I loved her spirit and how she felt free to speak her mind. I admired that quality in her.

I hope Andrea, Laurel and Royce will take some comfort in the fact that she was so well loved and will be missed. Rest in peace dear Connie.

Love,

Eileen

I am so sorry for Connie's family. She was a loving person and an intelligent and interesting individual. We corresponded about our cats and various topics. I never had the pleasure of meeting Connie in person, but I feel I knew her well through our cat lovers' message board where we take our friendships very seriously.

She was a many-faceted, interesting person. A good person. A good friend, a good mother, a good cat owner. I will miss her terribly.

My prayers are with her daughters and grandson, and her Mishka. May God bring comfort to all of them in this sad time.

Goodby, Connie - I will miss you always. May we meet again beyond the Rainbow Bridge.
