Daniel Dutro Obituary

Daniel "Danny" G. Dutro
November 29, 1990 - January 9, 2016
Resident of Sunnyvale and SJSU
Daniel "Danny" George Dutro was born on November 29th, 1990, at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, California, the son of Dan and Barbara Dutro. Danny was very blessed with the deep love of his parents and his parent's families. He was instilled from an early age with the importance of ethics, honesty, integrity, patriotism, and the strong Christian religious values from his grandparents on both sides of his family.
Danny was very proud of his Scotch-English, and Canadian roots from his mother's family which includes his grandparents, Dr Rod and Shirlee Millar, and the families of his two Aunts, Cyndi Millar and Dr Caroline Millar Rugis. His beloved Nana and Papa, Shirlee and Rod, contributed generously in his early years with childhood care, countless family dinners, and recreational swims at their beautiful family home nearby Canada College in Redwood City, California. It is fitting that we celebrate his life at the Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church where his grandparents so generously contributed to his pre-school scholarship when he was 3, 4, and 5 years old. He attended Church School there, and could often be seen in the Courtyard with his friends, bouncing on the lower tree limbs that have since been trimmed.
Danny was also deeply loved by his father's family which includes his beloved grandparents, George and Aina Dutro, his Aunt Debbie Dutro Prendergast's family, his Uncle Dave Dutro's family, his Vaughn Dutro, Phil Nelson, and Tom Scafidi family cousins. He was also very proud of his Irish and Swedish roots from his father's family who lived in Kalispell, Montana, and Arlington Heights, Illinois. He spent many fun summers vacationing at their home near Glacier Park. He was very proud of his Western Montana and Canadian heritages and his namesake, his great great grandfather, Daniel Dutro, who was born in Ohio and became a Montana Pioneer.
He grew up in Sunnyvale, California, and he attended all of his school in Sunnyvale and graduated from Homestead High School. Danny chose to attend De Anza College, and he transferred to complete a Business Degree in Entrepreneurship at SJSU. He won many academic and athletic awards over the years, and was proud to be chosen for the Lucas College of Business Honors Program. He had planned to graduate in the Spring of 2016.
Danny possessed a memory that enabled to memorize facts, statistics, and events in great detail and often verbatim. His favorite hobbies included watching all Bay Area sports events and movies with a small, close-knit fraternity of close and loyal friends from Homestead High. He was planning to graduate from SJSU in the Spring of 2016 with a Business Degree in Entrepreneurship.
In return for the deep love given to Danny, he deeply loved all of his family, friends, teachers, coaches, and professors. He loved all … and all loved him.
"Deeply Loved … Loved Deeply"
There will be a "Celebration of Life" dedicated to Danny open to all at the Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church on Friday, January 29th at 1pm in the main sanctuary located at 728 West Fremont Avenue in Sunnyvale, CA.
In lieu of flowers, Danny's family is working to make it possible for charitable donations to be made at a later date towards a cause in his name.

So many memories with this beautiful boy. Danny was the kindest and most gentle soul I've met. Does anyone know Danny's final resting site? I'd like to pay my respects. Thank you. Rest easy Dannyboy.
