Daniel affected many people’s lives in a very positive manner. He was an extremely pleasant and delightful individual and will be greatly missed. Although, I knew Daniel for a short time, I considered him a friend. He was always very cheerful and made you smile. I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Daniel was one of the nicest people I ever met. He was funny, kind, and cheerful. A true "gentle" man, who lived by his convictions. He will be missed by all.

Daniel was an extremely special person to me. His death has greatly affected me. I was not surprised to see the vast number of people, of all ages, at his funeral whose lives he has also touched.

He was a tender-hearted, considerate man who generously gave himself unconditionally without any expectations of anything in return. He was a man of great intelligence, magically talented in the Arts, and cleverly witty. He walked with a gleeful skip to his step which radiated his internal happiness.

I will always remember the important role he played in my life. He has taught me the value of love, the true meaning of friendship, and that being happy is a choice each of us can make. I will miss him dearly.

I'm so sorry...I cannot believe this tragedy has occured. I worked with "Dano" at K.J. from 97-99 and he was a "bright star" as a coworker. During stressful times at work, Dano was always positive and cheerful. It was routine to see him walking his bike by my cubicle with a giant smile! He also was tasked with many responsibilities regarding setting up those competitive sets for tastings and he did an awesome job managing that. I left KJ in 99, but sent an email in 2001 saying hello. And it was great to hear from him again. Funny, how you can even hear someone's smile in an email... I send to you my heartfelt sympathy. I will pray for you and your children. I hope in time the pain lessens and your wonderful memories help heal.

Strength and thoughts....

Sincerely,

Kim Liestenfeltz

Daniel was a phenomenally talented human being! My “cousin,” as we affectionately referred to each other, was quick-witted, inquisitive, imaginative, and unflappable. And one day in my office many years ago, he executed a perfect one-arm handstand. He could do it all! Rest in peace “cousin.”

Daniel was a wonderful friend and co-worker. Always smiling. Always helpful. One of the nicest people I have ever met. He will be dearly missed!

Danny was one of my favorite dance partners to be cast with when we danced in Khadra. He was genuine, sincere, and had a sense of humor over my tendancy to forget steps in the middle of a performance when I was new to the company. I could always count on him to get me through. He set a fine example in the way he lived his life and his tragic death is motivation to take action in our own lives to live by our convictions and to pursue causes dear to our hearts. My prayers are with Patty, the girls, and the rest of Danny's family and friends.
