Daniel Carl Schaefer passed away at age 103. He was born in Garland, Nebraska on January 14, 1912. He was a loving father and will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love for the grocery business. He is survived by his devoted second wife Lien. He was preceded in death by his first wife Delia and is survived by a son, Daniel Schaefer, Jr., two step children, Kenneth Lehr and Bette Lehr Hoppe, six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
