Dat Nguyen Obituary
A woman stating she was his girlfriend had previously identified him to the Mercury News as Dat Lai. But she said it is the same person.
Nguyen was stabbed about 1 a.m. at Sao Dem Restaurant & Bar at 2550 Berryessa Road, which is in a mall anchored by a Safeway. He died later at the hospital. Nguyen was the city's fourth homicide of the year.

Even thought I don't know Dat. My condolensces goes out to Dat's family. I personally know how it feels losing a loved one, so young, so precious... R.I.P Dat.. :-(
