David contacted me a couple years back when he came to work on his mother's kitchen in the SC mountains. I was so excited to hear from David and we met for coffee. He always loved Willow Glen and all of the stories from the past. Around this time I can see all of us getting ready for graduation and prom, now that our children are doing the same. David was too young to go....such an intelligent, vibrant man...so generous in spirit...so in love with his wife, Patty, his children, his family, friends and life. He is with his Father in Heaven. I cried so hard when I heard about his passing. I can still hear his laugher, see his smile and listen to his wisdom. He was the smartest one back at Willow Glen. David was a true warrior....I will miss you and am so thankful that we met that special day to renew a lasting friendship. God bless you David....your dear friend, Janet Johns
