Delphina was the first person I met when I started at NASA back in 1998. She was one of the kindest people anyone could have had the pleasure to have known. I am so blessed to not only have known her but to be able to call her my friend. She will be missed by everyone that God put in her path.

Aunt Delphina, may your soul rest eternally with our Heavenly Father! I pray that you will be greeted with open arms as you cross over! You were one of the most selfless and caring person that I know, always lending a helping hand, looking out for everyone and the best interest, putting others before yourself, a true act of God´s will! Only God knows why you had to leave so soon but I have faith that there was a reason he needed you home. Lord knows you will be missed dearly And I continue pray that you are now at peace, rest easy Auntie, I love you and miss you! Till we meet again

Auntie! Till we meet again! Rest in the arms of the One who loves us so deeply. I cherished sharing our faith journey through texts and calls and sometimes social media but I treasured the most our interactions when I was younger. You were the Aunt I most wanted to be like ...maybe because you were youngest and traveled so much and seemed so polished...but maybe, really it was the magnetic smile and joy that tethered me to you and your "singsong" voice when you spoke-even when correcting or redirecting me or your own children! Love is expressed in many ways and you, my lovely Auntie, loved fiercely on all your family! Thank you for a well lived and loved life and a legacy of dedication to family and friends alike. Thank you for modeling for this mama how to whether the storms of marriage and child rearing with the grace and mercy and hope in the Lord and good old fashion hard work in the house! You were unmistaably unique and original...I even loved that about your name growing up! DELPHINA! :HOW ROYAL AND REGAL IT SOUNDED! Rest your crown at the throne of our Beloved King till we meet again and sing praises forever! Love, "Monnie"! PS. She may not remember but Mama said her goodbyes and prayers to you too!

I loved the parties we shared rooting on the Niners and Warriors to victories and championships. You taught me how to dry an egg, gave cooking advice when my dinner seemed irrecoverable, and were always so kind and welcoming to me. I will never forget the grace and strength you put forth every day. I know you are with the Lord and have a seat of honor at his table. Love and miss you.
