Dorothy "Do" Heiderich died peacefully on March 2, 2022 at the age of 92 years. She was born and raised in Mason City, Iowa and moved to Southern California in 1959 with her husband Robert and four children. The family relocated to the bay area where she lived for 36 years, before retiring to the community of Coarsegold, CA. Do was a loving spouse and devoted mother. Her life was defined by her faith and activities in various Lutheran churches, most recently Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Gilroy, CA. While residing in San Jose, Do worked for various tech companies including Control Data and Tandem. She is survived by her sons, Bill (Carol), Jeff (Yvonne), Mark (Carol) and grandchildren, Ben, Justin, Tim, Brandon, Katrina (Joe) and great grandchildren Madaline, Owen, Ysabella, and sisters Marvyl Buehner and Lynda McMannes. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Heiderich, daughter Kit Bishop, and son-in-law Tom Bishop. Services will be held on Sunday, March 20, at 11:15 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Gilroy, CA
