Edward Russell Obituary
Resident of San Jose
Passed away peacefully in his home July 20, 2011 with his loving wife Gwen and son Victor by his side. He spent most of his life as an electronics engineer, contributing much to the MOS industry and the birth of Silicon Valley; working for numerous companies on both the East and West coast along with several foreign countries.
Born in Altoona PA to the late Raymond and Virginia Russell, at 84 he was the eldest of 4 boys, Jim (deceased) & wife Joyce of York PA, Pete & Jean of Sun City AZ and Bob & Fran of Newark DL.
He is survived by his wife Gwen and their son Victor, two stepsons and their wives Richard & Rhonda Noonan of Cupertino CA and Robert & MaryAnn Noonan of Perrysburg OH. Three step grand children; Julie Noonan, Ryan (Regina) Noonan, Rory (Citlalli) Noonan and a great grandson Jonah (Ryan's son.)
His wishes were to be cremated and scattered at sea with no services.
In place of flowers donations to the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital will be greatly appreciated.
