I was good friends with Emily in elementary school in Los Altos - we lost touched when I moved away, but I have thought of her often over the years. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. She was always such a spitfire and we had some great times together. Sending love and light.

I met Emily thru John and Steve in 1995. She always had a quick wit and calmness about her. She liked wine and song. I remember a caving trip near Sonora where a bunch of us rappelled down 150ft into the cave -and that was just the start of a very mucky 3 hrs! Then there were the bunko/xmas parties with Emily, Allison, Stef, Suzanne, John and Steve. Good times! The last time I saw her was at John&Carleen's wedding in 2009. I will miss her but have a slew of great memories of her.

Emily and I became friend in the 80's when we both worked part time at Payless Drug store in Menlo Park. We had so many fun times...working, game nights, her and Al's Annual Ornament parties, biking, hiking half dome, countless fond memories.. Emmie was a sweet, kind friend and although, we hadn't seen each other in a while,I will still miss her and love her dearly. God bless you Emmie.. hugs.. Stefanie

Emily and I were besties in second grade when she lived on orange tree lane and I lived on Apple tree lane. I still have the teddy bear that I named after her. "Pegily". So sorry to hear of her passing. Rest in peace, friend!

Dear Emily, I am so saddened to hear you are no longer with us to share your gift of song. You were a fun jazz jam partner, and a great supportive friend. I will miss your versions of "Eleanor Rigby" and "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars". I send my deepest condolences to your family. Love, Diana Torres-Koss
