Eugene H. Sullivan III

Jan. 21, 1922 to Jan. 22, 2007. He was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. After graduating from Holy Family High School, he served his country in World War II, in the United States Army. He received the Purple Heart for wounds suffered in the action on Anguar Island, in the Palau Island Group. He and his family moved to California after the war and resided in San Jose for 60 years. He was a graduate of San Jose State University and was employed by the Santa Clara Valley Water district for 45 years. He was the son of Eugene H. Sullivan II and Sarah M. (Benson) Sullivan. He is survived by his loving cousins, extended family and friendsPrivate services have been held by LIMA FAMILY MORTUARY, presided over by Reverend Daniel Urcia, Pastor of Saint Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church.
