Francis Smallwood Obituary

Francis M. III "Woody" Smallwood

Resident of San Jose

Born June 20, 1942. Loving husband of 43 years to Janice Perala Smallwood, entered into Eternal rest September 20, 2010.

Woody is survived by his son, Frank; daughter-in-law, Kim; grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda and Mason; sisters, Barbara Smallwood of Stockton, CA and Sheila Bennett of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Donna Perala of Boulder Creek. Woody was uncle to 6 and great-uncle to 13. Faithful master to Nala.

Woody's service in the United States Air Force was honorable, and he was proud of his air police position in the Strategic Air Command. After graduating from Lincoln Law School, he practiced law in Santa Clara County from 1978 until he suffered a stroke in 2004.

Funeral services will be Monday September 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at DARLING FISCHER CAMPBELL MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 231 E. Campbell Avenue, Campbell, CA 95008, interment to follow with Military honors.
