Frank Ascencio Obituary

Frank Ascencio Age 79 of Tracy, passed away January 6, 2006. Born Oct. 10, 1926 in Zoacualco, Mexico. Previous resident of San Jose for 50 years. A roofer for 45 years. He loved gardening, playing cards with his family and playing with his grandchildren and watching Spanish soap operas with his wife. He was a surrogate father and grandfather to extended family. He will be forever in the hearts of his family.

Survived by wife Mary Ascencio of Tracy of 57 years. Children, Roland & Irene Lopez of New Mexico, Martha & Juan Cordova of Modesto, Diane & Cruz Guerrero of Tracy, Patricia & Sean Kelly of Santa Clarita, Laura & Rick Piazza of Tracy. Siblings, Jose Ascencio of Mexico, Jesus Ascencio of San Jose, Maria Varo of Mexico, Zenaida Ascencio of Mexico, and Concepcion Dominguez of Mexico, 16 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation Friday Jan. 13, 2006, 1 - 6:15 p.m. Fry Memorial Chapel. Rosary Jan. 13, 2006 6:15 p.m. Friday, Fry Memorial Chapel. Service Sat. Jan. 14, 2006, 12:30 p.m. Mass at Most Holy Trinity, 2040 Nassau Dr., San Jose. Interment Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose.

Remembrances to American Cancer Society, 207 E. Alpine, Stockton CA 95204.

HI, DADDY,
It is so hard to believe that it has been 4 years & 5 months since you were taken from us. Mom misses you every day as so do we. I miss you so much every minute of every day. When you left us you left a giant hole in my heart that I haven't been able to fill and I know that I never will be able to fill it. I know that you wtch over us everyday from HEAVEN where you are and I need you to keep us in check and don't let us fail in anything you instilled in us.I hope that someday we will be together again in Heaven. Whisper in MOM's ear once in a while so that she won't be so feel so lonely. I know that are here in SPIRIT all the time.

Hi DADDY, This letter is very hard, harder than the others, because of the fact that it is going to be the first FATHER'S DAY without you. You can't imagine what is going on with us because we all miss you so very much. I know MOM will be very sad this weekend. We will try to get her mind off of this but that will be very hard. Hi,Daddy I am sorry that it has been a while since I last wrote you. We are all fine as you know. Mom is doing good. You know how hard it is for us. Everything around us reminds us of you. A song, a motion that someone does, a saying we hear from someone. etc. I can practically smell you around us. This Easter everyone was at m house. For Mothers day too. Hi Daddy, just wanted to talk to you, I know that you are watching us and keeping us safe all the time. We feel you with us always. I miss you so much it hurts. But I know that you are still with us and will never leave us. It is so very hard when I hear a song you sang or watch something you liked to watch. Fabian is always watching wrestling because he knows you always watched it. Mom was over for the weekend last week, don't worry about her we are all watching out for her. Hi, Daddy, Iam sitting here with the kids drinking my morning coffee, that just doesn't taste the same anymore, I am remembering all the mornings we had together. Your pictures are up on the entertainment center, and the kids ask me about you all the time. We tell the that you are our Guardian Angel, and that you are taking care of all of us.WE MISS YOU SO MUCH. We try spend as much time with my mom as possible. but you already know how she is . Hi grandpa, i just wanted to let you know how much we miss you. I think about you every day. Bianca is always asking for you, but she understands that you are an angel in heaven taking care of us. It is really hard to visit grandma without being sad that your not there. When i walk in to your room, i expect to see you there in your bed, but your not. Grandma still has your clothes hanging right where you left them. Your robe is hanging in the bathroom. I know grandma misses you alot. Don't worry about her. We will all be there for her. I was drinking my coffee at my kitchen table, and looking at your pictures on the entertainment center,I was thinking about all the things you told me and that we talked about, especially these last few months before you started getting sicker. I know that one of your wishes did't come true before this happened, but I know that she was still with us all that time. The kids miss you very much. I know that you are everywhere that we go.
