Gary Jones Obituary
May 15, 1935 - December 20, 2011
Resident of Santa Clara
Gary Jones passed away peacefully at his home in Santa Clara at the age of 76. He was a star athlete from Fremont High School and graduated in 1953. He is survived by his wife, Audrey, of 58 years, loving father of four children, Greg (Sue), Len, Michael (Karen) and daughter Valerie Morgan. A loving Papa to 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and beloved life long friend, Donald Ikebe. Gary worked at GTE Government Systems in Mountain View as a graphic supervisor for 34 years.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation on December 30th at 9AM and services at 10AM in Chapel of Roses, Oak Hill Memorial Park, 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose.

In Loving Memory Dad on Father's Day.
For someone who meant so much and loved by all he knew who left behind a trail of tears and precious memories, too.
We loved the sunshine in his smile and kindness in his heart but heaven saw that he was tired which meant we had to part.
And now that it's his special day dear angels, hear our prayer please guard him with your gentle wings and tend him with great care.
For he was someone wonderful and words just can't convey how much we wish that he was here once more, with us today.

We have wonderful memories of working with Gary at GTE. We spent many long hours together trying to get proposals out by sometimes-ridiculous deadlines, and Gary was always there to make sure those deadlines were met. A true professional and a terrific guy. Our thoughts and prayers are with Audrey and the family.

Mr. Jones was as great a neighbor as can be growing up. My memories of him will always be a nice happy man that always said hello and kept his yard flawless while smoking an aromatic pipe. Mrs. Jones and family are in my thoughts during this sad time.

Uncle Gary was the kind of uncle everyone should have. He was funny and kind I loved him dearly,I will miss him dearly, but he will forever be in my heart.
