So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Your family has always been so dear to me. We had many good times. You're dad and mom! Always so welcoming! Amazing aloha spirit much like I always had with my grandparents down the hill on oahu
in makiki! I went to your house today and it was a walk down memory lane. Your home was always so warm and happy! Many memories, many friends. God bless you all! Steve

It was such a pleasure to see the extended McMillan-Gordon family, along with old friends from the neighborhood at George's memorial service last Saturday -- and a blessing to hear the heartfelt tributes to George from Brim, Brenda, Barbee, Bonnie and Brim's wife.
When we're young, we imagine our parents are going to be with us forever. Only later do we realize that they're only mortal, and we secretly dread the day of their passing. But when that day finally comes – even if it's expected – losing a parent hurts like a sledgehammer to the soul.
George was a wonderful man, one whom I respected and liked very much. I always appreciated his easy-going manner, great sense of humor and generous spirit. Whenever you saw George with his wife Barbara or his children, you could plainly see how very much he loved and cherished them. And that love carries on through George and Barbara's six exemplary children and their families.
Such a beloved patriarch will be greatly missed. But thankfully, George's absence is only temporary. With every passing day, we're ever-closer to the great reunion in God's kingdom, where the only tears will be tears of joy – and the word “goodbye” will no longer have any meaning.

I have so many memories of your father, his laugh, his love for the MIlls Brothers, him BBQ beef ribs, and his face when he help the little girl that was hit by a car out front. Most of all the love for his family. He will be missed. Ernie and Jill

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. You all were so much a part of our growing up on Humboldt St. Even though he is gone from here, our memories live on and he lives on in the arms of Jesus.
