I have been thinking about you a lot lately. I miss you so much. I wish Poppa George was here to see how beautiful and smart Devyn Lindsay and Ryan Elizabeth are growing up to be. My heart breaks at every cheer competition that "Linds" wins and every soccer goal Ryan scores because you're not here to see it, but then I remind myself that you are watching over them in everything that they do. I love you so much, dad, and I miss you every day.

It's your birthday... and I told you Happy Birthday ..You know how I can remember birthdays. I know you can always hear me. One day I was sitting on the porch when a leaf blew right to me and I automatic knew it was from you so I said Thank You George

I have been listening to a special song we both enjoyed ...Van Morrison Someone Like You.. It sures hits on home. It doesn't seem it has been over a year you left me. Seems like yesterday.

My thoughts and prayers are with George's family. He fought a truly heroic fight against a relentless medical condition. Hope he is exploring heaven with his dad, and his dad's dog, Charlie.

Keep a fire burning in your eye
Pay attention to the open sky
You never know what will be coming down
I dont remember losing track of you
You were always dancing in and out of view
I must have thought youd always be around
Always keeping things real by playing the clown
Now youre nowhere to be found
I dont know what happens when people die
Cant seem to grasp it as hard as I try
Its like a song I can hear playing right in my ear
That I cant sing
I cant help listening
And I cant help feeling stupid standing round
Crying as they ease you down
cause I know that youd rather we were dancing
Dancing our sorrow away
(right on dancing)
No matter what fate chooses to play
(theres nothing you can do about it anyway)
Just do the steps that youve been shown
By everyone youve ever known
Until the dance becomes your very own
No matter how close to yours
Anothers steps have grown
In the end there is one dance youll do alone
Keep a fire for the human race
Let your prayers go drifting into space
You never know what will be coming down
Perhaps a better world is drawing near
And just as easily it could all disappear
Along with whatever meaning you might have found
Dont let the uncertainty turn you around
(the world keeps turning around and around)
Go on and make a joyful sound
Into a dancer you have grown
From a seed somebody else has thrown
Go on ahead and throw some seeds of your own
And somewhere between the time you arrive
And the time you go
May lie a reason you were alive
But youll never know.
Kiss Christine.
I love you.

I thought I saw your face today, in the sparkle of the morning sun. And then I heard the angel say, "Their work on earth is done."
I thought I heard your voice today, then laugh your hearty laugh. And then I heard the angel say, "There's peace dear one at last." I thought I felt your touch today, in the breeze that rustled by. And then I heard the angel say, "The spirit never dies.'
