Loving wife to Frank M. Cortez. Beloved mother to Frank, Benita (Wendy), Catherine (Donna) Sandra (Venancio). Grandmother to John, Michael Andrea. Great Grandmother to Antonio, Michaela Jordan. Viewing will be held Thurs. Feb. 7th from 3-9pm. Rosary at 7:00pm at Chapel of Flowers. Mass at St. John Vianney Fri. Feb. 8th at 11am.

Grandma Gladys, I remember this day like yesterday. Although all these years have passed it still hasn´t gotten easier. We´ve always kept your memory alive and talk about you often. you were the glue to this family.

You are truly missed Aunt Gladys. There is a gift that each of my Aunts and my Uncles have left to me and our family and yours is the many happy memories I have of those delicious spaghetti dinners and the laughter we all shared. I will never forget the time when you took the time to make your special dish with us at Santa Cruz. That was special, that was love. Thank You. Say hello to all who have gone before us. I know you are all well and alive.

I remember the first thing you ever taught me was math and I used to go sit with you and do math everyday in 2nd and half of 3rd grade and work I remember everything I used to with you all thing you said to me before you passed away it was you do not want me and my cousin fighting so I hope you are there by me always and on Christmas I will not open a present without a picture of you

Gladys,
Happy birthday! Today Michaela started her first day in the 4th grade. It's a sad day for her, she misses you so much and cries for you more than she thinks I know. I remind how all she needs to do is close her eyes and there you will be. You were in my dream last night. It's always nice when you pop in randomly. Michaela tells me how she sees you whenever she needs you thank you for being there for her!! We love you Gladys happy birthday!

Mom,
We will miss your laugh, your smile, and your unconditional love and support. Even though you were in pain,you always remained strong and never wanted attention to be on you but rather you wanted everyone to continue on with their lives and were more concerned with how we were doing and if we were happy. Never asking for anything in return, no demands just always giving. So generous up to the end.

We were so BLESSED to have a grandmother and great grandmother as amazing as you. You were truly the most beautiful woman in the world. You touched so many lives. Gladys,
I love you more than words can say! I never knew what you truly meant to me until you were gone. I thank you for everything you have done for Michaela and I. I give you so much credit for Michaela being the wonderful young lady she is today. It's still really hard to believe that you are gone. I used to think you were invincible and would never leave us. I know you are in heaven now looking down on us. I hope you hear me talking to you, I'm still going to need your help with Michaela. She loves you so much and talks to you every night.
