Resident of San Jose
On the evening of May 9, Herbert J. Green, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.
Herb was part of the first wave of engineers who moved to Silicon Valley in the early 1970s. For the next 30 years, he worked at several companies in the Valley. After retiring, he devoted himself to woodturning. He also loved to fish, spend time with his grandchildren, and take online classes. He is survived by his loving wife Connie, children Suzanne Epstein (Joe), Julie, and Joe (Jamie), and seven grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial on Sunday, May 22 at 3:30 pm at California Cafe, 50 University Ave #260, Los Gatos, CA 95030.

I am very sad to have just found out Herb died. I was a neighbor for many years and had moved away in 2015. Herb was a fine man, a family man, and an interesting and talented guy. I am praying for Connie and family that they receive peace and that Herb will forever be in their hearts.
The last thing I remember is that Herb and I had shared with each other that we both were facing kidney failure and dialysis. It is a terrible disease and I am so sorry Herb had to suffer through that at the end of his life.
God Bless you Herb. You were a very good man.
