Iris Proctor Obituary
Resident of Union City
Passed into the presence of her savior Jesus Christ on September 28, 2010. She was 88 years old. Iris was a native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and married Geoffrey Procter; they lived in San Mateo County for 55 years. She was involved in Christian work and was a homemaker for most of her married life. She lived in Union City for the last 2 years of her life. Iris was much loved by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Timothy and daughter-in-law, Anne, and grandchildren, Stephanie, Jonathan and Colin.
Friends are invited to visit Monday, October 4, 2010 at 9:00am at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City with a Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment will be at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma immediately following the service. DUGGAN'S SERRA

Tim and Family,
Even after all these years I still consider Iris my spiritual mom. She was the best mentor a young, new Christian could ever have. She was so strong in her faith and always lived what she believed. It was impossible not to want to reach to her level- both spiritually and personally.
And, on top off all this, she had a heart of gold.
I will always cherish her and keep her close in my heart.
Please know that even though I am unable to make the services today, I am with you in my heart remembering and celebrating who she was and the fact that she is now with Jesus, her savior.
I wish you and all your family the best and send my prayers that you all are comforted as you adjust to your personal loss.
