With heavy hearts we are very sad to announce the passing of James Leo Foley. James is survived by his mother, JoAnn Foley, his son, Dale John Foley, daughter, Hannah Greer Foley and their mother, Ellen Zensen. Beyond his family, the world lost an incredible friend with James' passing.
A remembrance Memorial for James will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 5:30 until 6:30 in the evening, followed by a mass at St. Julie's Parish at 366 St. Julie Drive, San Jose. A reception to follow at the Santa Teresa 2 Clubhouse with parking on Chantilly Lane.

James, you were a dear friend since the fifth grade. We shared many adventures and many laughs. You made this world a better place and me a better person. Thank you.

James, you have been my very best friend for 30 years. We laughed & cried together. Picketed & walked for causes together. Listened to the whole O. j. Trial together & went to concerts, funerals, retirement parties & baby showers together. It was you & I holding each other as the Chaplin spoke of the souls that entered & souls that exited San Jose Hospital on the last day before it closed. I was at your wedding & you at mine. You never missed a boxing match I ordered & got a big kick out of how excited I would get. You were my "Buddy Ryan" & I was your "Patty Girl". I was supportive to you when John was sick & passed away, you were supportive to me when Bob was sick & passed away. We were always tthere for one another & truly just enjoyed hanging out together & that was after spending 8 hours together at work. I love you so deeply, you enriched my life so much being my friend. I feel truly blessed to have known you. Until we meet again............... Love Always & Forever, Patty Girl

James I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know you!! You were a very humble man, that always had everyone's best interests at heart. You are going to be missed beyond your wildest dreams. To Hannah and Dale I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great Dad.Godspeed my friend!!
