Growing up with two big brothers was the best thing ever. Then along came the other 3 (Jimmy, Tommy & Stevie) and I couldn't get away with anything...and I wouldn't change that for the world. You will be missed by so many people Jimmy, but your new friends are so lucky to have you. R.I.P.

Jim had a heart for everyone he knew, I remember so often picking up the phone for help and at the receiving end he would be their in a jiff....North Beach will never be the same without him ordering a clam pizza with extra cheese....At this moment of death it tells me how many hearts hold you that is the eternal gift....Through out All Times....Love Yeah Brother...

Jim was my first "boyfriend," a short summer romance in '69 as I entered my Freshman year at Terra Nova High School. I had the biggest crush on him. Throughout my high school years, he was as much a part of my life as anybody I can remember. His jokes were beyond silly (the eye-rolling kind, for sure), he teased me endlessly, but he was also an amazingly loyal friend. I knew that I could count on him for anything. In recent years, he and I reconnected, spending a day on the beach in Pacifica and reminiscing about our youth. I am so deeply saddened that Jim's smile, humor and energy won't grace us anymore. Jim, I miss you!

We grew up down the street from Jim, Steve and Tom on Linda Mar Blvd. Whenever Jim wanted to go surfing, he would come over to our house and we would head to the beach. I remember he would be the life of the party by cracking jokes and keeping us all laughing. Pacifica has so many great and memorable families, the Francos were definitely one of them. Now that Jim, Tom and their parents are together again you know they are having the best family reunion. We miss you guys.

Our hearts are very saddened by Jimmy's passing. As a long time Pacifican, Jim was well known around town - enjoying the beaches & sun, taking beautiful & breathtaking pictures and videos, and most of all enjoying life to its fullest. Your sweet and compassionate nature will be much missed and will never forget how you were there for me & my daughter, Chinel, during a dark period of my life. God blesses you, Jimmy. May you be a guardian angel to all you have deeply touched.

Jim was twins with Tom Franco. We were not close friends but always very good friends. We shared childhood and high school years together. This a horrible loss, he was one of our Pacifica brothers. My heart goes out to his family and many thanks to Eric Laughlin who stood by his side until the last minute.
