Joe will be missed dearly. He was a truly good man with a heart of gold and always a smile on his face. He will be missed but never forgotten. May the love of your family and friends help your family at this time.

My condolences and sympathies to the Lugo family. He was such a fun-loving person and had a great personality. It has been many many years since the last time I saw Joe. I met Joe when I first started dating my now passed husband, Lou Beronia. I used to watch Joe, Lou, and Lou's brother Arnie bowl at 4th Street Fun and special times. I know Joe will be missed by all.

Joe Lugo is an incredible man.
Joe Lugo showed up, suited up, and then ushered young men into the world of sports. What an opportunity for our youth to thrive, and thrive they have. Your dedication to sports indicates the following. We all need to embrace your spirit and lift our youth as high as we could ever imagine lifting them. You will be remembered and missed with love. With love, Jory, Patrick, & Baron

Joe was a special man. He loved coaching and working with the kids in the neighborhood. Joe is the person that got me into umpiring baseball. I have been fortunate to go to Pro Umpire School, work Division 1 baseball, work a Little League World Series (2008 Big League) and now train so many other umpires. Joe had a heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone. Joe was a great father to his kids and a great husband to Rachel. Everyone that lived in Seven Trees that knew Joe Lugo loved Joe Lugo. We lost one great man. Joe you lived a great life, we will meet again.
