John Francis Wilson Bumb Sr. passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 surrounded by his immediate family.

Sevices for John will be held: Wednesday February 21. Viewing 5-8pm. Rosary 7pm Darling & Fischer, 471 E. Santa Clara St., San Jose Thursday February 22. Mass 11am St. Athanasius, 1565 S. White Rd. San Jose. Burial following Mass Calvary Cemetery, Alum Rock Ave. Celebration of Life
2-4pm @ The Flea Market.

The Bumb Family, my step dad Dominic DeCarlo and my family worked with yall at the flea market as kids. I invented the Chili Cheese Burrito in one of the large cantina. In fact your dad John asked me what I was eating and would I fix him one. I use to make them as my snack. Later I worked in the arcade with the daughters, then came back to Nashville, TN when I was 17. One girl wanted to become a pilot. I remember when John had the first helicopter rides there. I remember the growth of the flea market. I heard rumor of the market and Google came up with this....Mr. John passing. You would remember me because when we came to your house early mornings, I thought it was so sweet that Mr. John brought coffee to Chris in the mornings before he came out to talk to us if everyone was not awake. I remember, the two sisters whom I worked with in the arcade when Mr. John took me out of the cantina, and brother . My found memories have been the weekends there for years. I started whenI was 12 years old. Your dad was an overseer dad to me, and love his family greatly. God bless yall, and my prayers are with you all. My nick name is Diamond my last name is Call. I'm widowed.
