I have just heard the sad news and I want to send my deepest regrets to all of the family at this great loss. There are many people that pass through our lives, "Uncle John" was a very special person, as everyone knows I am sure. At a time when I was so far away from my own immediate family, he always made me feel like one of of his, whenever I had the occassion to visit. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the family.

When a loved one departs so many words go unspoken. The night of Tio's service all one had to do is look at all the family & friends & know how much he was loved,he touched many lives. Silence between Tio & I was an understanding but our love for each other did not die. May God look upon the family with many blessing & ease their pain

I share in the heartfelt loss of my uncle John. He was a wonderful person and family member. I will always remember and cherish his kindness and generosity in opening his home every holiday for tamales greeting you at the door with a warm smile and hug and the many times we have had the pleasure of getting together at his home for various family functions. I will hold onto the memories that he has left behind and all the time, visits, meals that uncle John and aunt Irene shared with my father after my mother's departure - almost 14 years, hard to believe. We need to keep tradition going and maintain the family unit. Love to all the family. My prayers are with all of you. Affectionately, cousin, Sharon
