Antonio (Anthony) Caparas Tantay of San Jose, CA, passed away after a sudden illness on March 15, 2014. He was a passionate guitar player who counted his children (and his best friend Ryan) as his most inspiring musical collaborators. He was also an accomplished martial artist who, after years of training and dedication, held a brown belt in Hei Long Shou Shu Kung Fu. He was a big dreamer, fearless risk taker, tireless teacher, and inspired creator of excellent barbecue. He will be dearly missed, and eternally loved, by his two children, Khaimyn and Ayannis; his wifey, Marisol; his mother, Tess; his siblings, Trish, Jomer, Arnold, Rose, and Jay; and countless friends and family members. Our Holy Father, and protector of all you have created, we raise our hearts to you, for those who have passed out of this mortal life.
In Your loving mercy, Father of all, be pleased to receive him in your heavenly company, and forgive the failings and faults he may have done from human frailty.
For all the faithful i pray for him, nor do i forget the good he has done while on earth, and also pray for your special need of your forgiveness.

Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that i feel for the passing of Anthony, but please accept my most sincere condolences. Anthony has been a great friend and like a little brother to me. To have had a friend like him is to have experienced a very special gift. Losing my friend is not easy, but i'm grateful that i was blessed to have been able to share great times in his life while he was still here and there's a very special place in my heart for him.
May fond memories of Anthony bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you, Khaimyn and Ayannis were able to share these before he passed away.
May his souls rest in peace. I firmly believe that God will accept him with open arms for all the good he has done while he was on this earth. God's best to you
