Dear Jim; and Lacey family,
I met your Dad the one time at your home. He was a big man of heart and soul. I'm sorry for your loss, and I wish I could have been there for you, as you were for me when my mom past away. My prayers go out to you and your family.

Dear Lacey Family;
I did not know Joe, but I knew of him and I am a friend of Jim and Linda's. Joe was an amazing fella. He accomplished quite a bit in his 88 years. I'm just proud to be an American when I am reckoned with a person with such spirit and promise. I am sure you all will miss him terribly. Be VERY proud!
My condolences to the entire lacey clan.

I was so sad to hear about Mr. Lacey. As a paraprofessional working with special education students, I dread substitute teachers, but it always brightened my day (and that of the students) to see Mr. Lacey - our favorite sub! He was very caring with the students and they enjoyed his many stories about San Francisco.
To his family, you have my deepest sympathy during this very difficult time. Your father was a good man and will be missed.

Joe was a wonderful guy. If everyone on the planet contributed as much as he did with humor, compassion and good sense, the world would be a much better place. He was very special.

Dear Lacey family,
Our condolences to you on the loss of your Dad.
We have many memories of Joe when he and my husband Ken coached for Holy Cross High School. It makes me smile that they are again together, probably plotting strategies. I'm sure your mom is rejoicing to have her Joe back with her. God's blessings to you all.
