Kenneth Edick Obituary

Kenneth Edick
Dec 4,1954 - Jun 15, 2021
Morgan Hill
It is with great sadness that the family and friends of Kenneth Dale Edick, 66, of Morgan Hill announce his passing on June 15, 2021. Ken was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on 12/4/1954 to Fred and Eileen Edick. Ken graduated from Piedmont Hills High School in San Jose in 1972. Ken has a commendable list of accomplishments including playing professional basketball in Australia, mastering the art of Kung Fu and teaching the art to sight impaired students and owning a very successful Private Investigation Company. Ken passionately enjoyed golfing and motorcycle riding. Ken is preceded in death by his parents and sister Eileen Dumont. Ken is survived by his three brothers Robert Edick of South Carolina, Terry Edick of California and Craig Edick of Delaware and a number of nieces and nephews. Ken, fondly remembered for his nice and caring nature, will be desperately missed by the love of his life, Twyla Sulesky, and his extensive circle of friends, co-workers and clients. For his beloved 'biker family', whenever you ride and feel the wind in your hair, Ken will be there with you! A funeral service will not be held. Details pending on a Celebration of Life later this summer.

I just learned of Ken's passing as I was looking him up for a new assignment in a case I am litigating. I needed the best, and I always went to Ken for that. My condolences to his loved ones and friends on their loss.

I just learned of Ken's passing after trying to contact him. I was a client of Ken's in connection with my law practice and would ask for his help perhaps a couple of times a year. After discussing business, we would always talk about other things--politics, sports, life--and I valued those discussions.

Perhaps no higher professional compliment could be paid than when a judge before whom I appeared was considering an opposing party's argument contesting service of legal documents, I walked the judge through the proof of service submitted by Ken and the judge remarked, "I know Ken Edick; I know he's excellent." End of contest.

Ken was a great person, excellent at what he did, and I will miss those discussions.

I was a client of Ken's, in connection with my law practice, but always considered him a friend as well, as he was the supreme professional that was always available, always right on the job, and always providing the hoped for result. We shared many laughs and stories over the years, and I was always happy to refer anyone asking me for "the very best investigator around", as I never had a doubt that they would be well taken care of. I will miss you so much, Ken...."Mr. A-Team"!
